NOTE 1: He died in Sheepcut Bay, ME at Caleb Boynton's house. His estate was administered by his son, William, July 18, 1743.
NOTE 2:
On Nov 25, 1702, by an order given to Sargt. Will
Osgood, by Capt. Henry True, William Hackett was "imprest to scout in ye
woods on the back side of Powaus Hill and to ye new meadows and to Batts Hill or Grape Hill to ye
grate plaine, to continue till furthur orders." He was again
"detached " in May 10, 1703 and in July 5, 1710 to go to
Exeter "to releive the distressed who are in danger from the
common enemy."
