Notes: Samuell CLEVELAND

NOTE 1: He spelled his name Samuell. One of the first to settle in Connecticut.

NOTE 2: He served as a soldier in King Philip's war 1675/76. He held the rank of Sergeant. A petition was written to the army from his brother Moses to release him early as he, Moses was injured, and could not bring in the crops without Samuel's help. He was released.
